About Us
The Muskogee County Master Gardeners Association is a volunteer development program offered by the Oklahoma State University Extension Service. The primary objectives of the volunteers, after satisfying the educational course work requirement, is to:

* Disseminate researched/proven horticultural information to individuals and groups within the community.
* Expand the capabilities of the Muskogee County Cooperative Extension Services
* To develop community programs related to horticultural needs and requests
* To provide horticultural education, community service and fellowship for Association members.
* Recruit and educate new Master Gardener candidates for effective volunteering.

All general Master Gardener monthly meetings take place at the The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center located at 300 MLK Street Muskogee, OK 74401 the 4th Thursday of every month with the exception of November and December, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m

Muskogee County Master Gardener Association Elects New Officers for 2024
Muskogee, OK - The Muskogee County Master Gardener Association held its October 2023 meeting to elect new officers for the 2024 calendar year. The following slate of officers was elected:
- Mr. Anthony Wright for President
- Mr. Kenny Graham for Vice-President
- Ms. Lela Robison for Treasurer
- Ms. Pam Turnbull for Secretary
We would like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Gayle Blackman for her two years of leadership as President and to Ms. Neta Ray as our 2023 Vice-President. We would also like to thank Ms. Robison and Ms. Turnbull for continuing in their current positions as Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that our 2024 meetings will be held at the Martin Luther King Community Center located at 300 W. Martin Luther King St. We would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Michelle LeNoir-Rende for securing this location by working with Mr. Derrick Reed, the MLK Center Director.
